Agii Apostoli

Agii Apostoli is a cluster of small beaches just 4km west of Chania town, making it one of the most convenient places to swim near the city. Sitting on Crete's western coast, it pairs golden sand and crystal-clear blue water with greenery and a relaxed, family-friendly feel, all close enough to reach in a 10-minute taxi ride or on the local KTEL bus line that runs from Chania's main bus station. The defining feature of Agii Apostoli is its structure of several sheltered bays separated by low rocky outcrops. There are three main coves of differing sizes, with the eastern cove around 150m long, the western cove around 250m, and the longer Glaros beach stretching considerably further. Nearby Iguana Beach is known for its unusual rock formations and shallow water, taking its name from a small offshore islet shaped like an iguana.
